GotU is a personal security app for those frightening times when you find yourself in the wrong place at the wrong time.

According to the United Nations 1 in 3 women in the world experience assault and/or violence at some time in their lives. It was for this reason that GotU was developed.

GotU has been designed to help keep all those who find themselves in dangerous situations safe. This includes women, children, and indeed anybody who finds themselves under threat.

With one touch GotU uses your iPhone camera to record evidence of the situation and transmits it along with GPS coordinates, a map of your location and other relevant data to your pre-selected contacts. This “evidence” is sent to your contacts as fast as your network service provider can deliver it – usually within seconds.

To ensure the security and privacy of your evidence GotUTech (the developer of GotU) plays no part in the transmission of your data. As a result there are no ongoing charges from GotUTech for the use of GotU. So long as you have the ability to send email from your iPhone GotU will continue to operate.
